The event also featured multiple authoritative keynote reports, systematically reviewing the four-decade development of the furniture discipline, sharing cutting-edge research findings on spatial intelligent design and digital production, and comprehensively showcasing the current frontiers of home furnishing disciplines and industries.

Exploring AI-Driven Industry-Education Integration

A dedicated Entrepreneurs Forum, chaired by Zhongyuan Zhao, Dean of the College of Furniture and Industrial Design at Nanjing Forestry University, focused on the theme “AI Empowering the Integrated Development of Furniture Education and Industry.” Mogans General Manager Jianzhong Zhao engaged in discussions with leaders of other home furnishing enterprises and university experts, exchanging insights on topics such as the application of AI technology across the entire home furnishing value chain, the shortage of interdisciplinary talent, and long-term university-enterprise collaboration models. Participants reached a consensus that AI technology is reshaping the entire process of home furnishing design, intelligent manufacturing, and end-user services. They agreed that industrial upgrading cannot be achieved by enterprises alone; only by establishing regular university-enterprise dialogue platforms can the dual challenges of technology implementation and talent supply be addressed simultaneously, continuously stimulating new quality productive forces in the home furnishing industry.
